Ridgerunner Aussies was established in 1996 with the registration of our kennel name with the Australian Shepherd Club of America. While we are a very new to breeding for the show ring, and competition in conformation. I have had Aussies for almost 27 years. I fell in love with this breed as a 13 year old and have had one ever since. My breeding animals are all OFA'ed and eyes cleared before they are bred. At present, I have 11 Aussies, but I only have 2 or 3 litters per year, if that many. All of my dogs go back to the Flintridge, Windermere, Tri-Ivory lines. I look forward to meeting everyone and speaking to all the old time breeders.

For several years, we have lived in a little town, 31 miles from Yosemite National Park in California, on a 40 acre ranch, where we had horses and Beefalo cattle. There was lots of room for my dogs to run and play, and some of them actually help around the ranch, even though they have had no professional training.  This year we have been busy moving to a new ranch in Mena, AR, and getting set up for the horses and dogs. Except for Willbie, who travels back and forth with me, all of the dogs are now at home in Arkansas.  My husband, Willbie and I will be there permanently before the end of 2001.

All of my dogs have a full guarantee against Hip Dysplasia, inherited eye abnormalities, and genetic defects. Even though my interest is in conformation showing, with multiple Hall of Fame parents through out the pedigrees, my dogs are also my "kids". I love each and everyone of them.
